Evaluation
The session serves as an introduction to his new strength assessment, Standout. It is quite a simple assessment tool to help people to identify their strength. He didn't shared much on research method so could not comment on its reliability, validity and potential applications. I thought his
selection of examples were not quite apt as most are based on his children and since young children
are at different developmental stages. Also, the instrument does not differentiate from other
available instruments though I was glad with its simplicity (StrengthFinder has 34 themes).
Regardless, Marcus Buckingham is an excellent and entertaining presenter.
